What to know!

Parking and Outdoor Policies

​

  • Parking:

    • No parking inside the circle or firelane (between picnic benches and dorm), except for unloading.

    • No parking on grass.
       

  • Smoking Restrictions:

    • Smoking is prohibited inside any buildings.
       

  • Fire Safety:

    • No campfires, fire pits, or fires of any kind are allowed due to the high fire hazard risk in Amador County.
       

What to Bring and Guest Responsibilities
 

  • Essential Items:

    • Bedding: Bring sheets, blankets, sleeping bags, or other bedding. Mattress pads are provided and must be used on every bed (professionally cleaned after each use).

    • Towels: Bring towels for showering and pool use (if applicable). Pool towels are only needed for rentals between June and August.

    • Bathing Supplies: Guests must bring their own towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap (the facility provides hand soap only).

    • Cleaning Supplies: Guests are responsible for cleaning; the facility provides only a broom and vacuum.
       

  • Dorms and Shared Spaces:

    • Guests using shared indoor dorm areas must:

      • Keep personal items organized to maximize space efficiency.

      • Avoid leaving food or scented items out to prevent pest issues.

    • Ensure that all shared spaces are tidy and free of clutter before check-out.
       

Room and Dorm Policies
 

  • Semi-Private Rooms:

    • Clean the room and strip beds of linens before check-out.

    • Place used linens and towels in designated collection areas.

    • Empty all trash into provided garbage bins.

    • Remove all items brought from the refrigerator before departure.
       

  • Dorms:

    • Use mattress pads on all beds being used and leave them on upon check-out (staff will strip dorm beds).

    • Return dorms to their original condition, removing any decorations, posters, or stains added during the stay.
       

Kitchen and Dining Area Policies
 

  • Wipe down all cooking appliances and counters after use.

  • Do not add soap to the dishwasher; it is pre-filled and ready for use.

  • Drain the dishwasher (instructions will be demonstrated upon arrival).

  • Wash and dry all dishes before check-out, and return them to their proper places.

    • Dishes can be run through dishwasher, do not need to be handwashed

  • Leave the kitchen clean and organized, matching its original condition.

  • Dispose of all food items left in the refrigerator or pantry.
     

General Rules and Efficiency Tips
 

  • Respect Quiet Hours: Be mindful of other guests and neighbors, especially during nighttime.

  • Waste Management:

    • Dispose of all trash in designated bins and use recycling containers where applicable.

    • Reduce waste by using reusable items and consolidating trash.

  • Belongings: Remove all personal items from the property upon check-out.

     

  • Damage Reporting: Report any damages or maintenance issues to staff immediately.
